A machine of ours keeps getting an error "Entry point not found - The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

I have redeployed SysAid to the machine, which seemed to resolve the issue for a little while, but now it's back. Any suggestions?

Hi

Have you found any solutions to this issue?

In our case it was problem with windows xp machines. New agent requires sp3.

Hi shovty,

Glad to hear updating XP to SP3 resolved the error. It actually turns out that the function GetLogicalProcessorInformation was first introduced in SP3, which is the reason that the update resolved the error.

bhjit - have you had a chance to update the computer to SP3? Doing so should take care of the message.

Thank you,

Michael

We are seeing the issue as well on our XP machines, but a slightly different error.

SysAidWorker.exe - Entry Point Not Found : The procedure entry point RegSetKeyValueW could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll.
