Metro Tiles Won't Run

Question:

On Windows 8.1 (specifically the Surface Pro Tablet s) there is an annoying problem.  The primary user on the AD Domain can sign in and use the Metro Tiles -- but no other user can.  They all show up with a tiny "x" in the bottom corner, and they won't run.

Hi Flyboy,

Can you please clarify what you are referring to? Is the problem related to SysAid? If so - can you please provide screenshots as examples?

Hi Danny

This was a specific problem on the MicroSoft Surface joined to a Windows Active Directory Domain -- only the first user logging into a domain was enabled to run the Metro Tiles.

This is a W8 / W8.1 issue on the Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3 -- it's a MicroSoft bug.
