Variables in Request template

Hey Team.

We are interested in utilizing variables in request templates in a similar fashion to how one would add variables to alert emails to populate important information (such as ${sr.getAsset().computerName} . )

The information we are interested in populating is: the users name, phone number, asset serial, and users address. How can this be achieved?

Is it possible to carry over any of this information when linking a request to an incident that already has all of these values?

The users would be filling out their address and adding their asset to the incident.

Is it possible to carry over the address field as filled out on the incident, over to the linked request? Also, are there any alternatives we could potentially explore out of the box that would carry over the required information?

The incident could be converted to a request, if that would work for you.
