IS there a way to remove the incident and request button from the top bar and still allow for incidents and requests to be part of our toolbox?

I just want those buttons gone and be able to explain in more detail in the toolbox the difference to our teachers. Is it a css we can modify?

I second the question above - it will be very helpful to have those buttons removed.

I was able to remove those buttons through the Self-Service Portal Settings.

Settings>Self-Service Portal>Self-Service Portal Settings>Advanced Settings.

Under there you should see Enable Incident Submission and Enable Request Submission. Click the + next to each one and you should be able to just remove the check mark for displaying the buttons.

True - you can remove buttons that way but unfortunately, it also removes users permissions to submit incident or request.
I would like to still keep this ability

Seems odd then, I have the buttons hidden at the top of the Self-Service portal, but within the Service Catalog, the Submit Incident and Request still function for an End User.

Hopefully someone who knows more than me can chime in!

I've contacted SysAid support and they've enabled this functionality for me. Now it's easy and straight forward.
