Sysaid Company Setting

I would like to get some description on the Company setting in Sysaid. What is its purpose? Is it only to limit data to an administrator or end user?

Does each company share certain list data such as Categories or are they seperate?

Can users of Company A submit tickets for Company B? In our case we have two companies and a single user base for both companies.

So we are trying to determine whether or not using the Company settings will actually make sense for us or not.
