Being able to delegate certain SRs to dev teams is a pretty central part of a help desk that has to support in-house software, having some way to convert or send SRs to devs via GitLab would be a really nice integration. It would also make centrally managing and reporting on interdependent SysAid projects much easier if it was possible to import issues/tasks from GitLab project boards or milestone backlogs as activities or tasks in SysAid projects.

I have an issue open on GitLab for an integration on their side, but it's awaiting indication of demand, so if you want to vote on or follow it, it'd be appreciated. https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/299192#note_491865168

For translating between SRs and GitLab issues, it might make sense to just use the GitLab email-based service desk feature to manage bi-directional communication on SRs/Issues as it wouldn't require an integration or webhooks on the GitLab side to be able to update SR statuses or send communications to SR requestors.

Another thing that would be a nice addition if integrating with GitLab would be being able to push markdown documentation from GitLab repos to the SysAid KB, so that documentation written by devs about deployment and support can be maintained, updated, and pushed, by devs along with the versioning of their code base, but still have the documentation that relates to IT be searchable in the KB.
