SysAid HelpDesk App Beta version for Android has been released!!!

On Droid 1, app does not rotate to landscape. Tried on 3 seperate phones.

I also am getting a Login error "Failed to get data from server: https://x.x.x.x:8080/mobile/Login.jsp?nomenu=true". I am on the same network (internal) and am using https://x.x.x.x:8080 as my server URL. Using name in lieu of server did not help. I can get to the server via a browser, but not via app. Any suggestions?

I am running the Android app on a Samsung Galaxy S with Android 2.2.
The app does not always work when I try to use it. You have to re-launch 3 or 4 times before it opens.
It generates a feedback report which contains various bits of info including:
Report type - Crash
Exception Class name - java.lang.IllegalStateException
Source File -

There is a stack trace with loads of info about it not being able to start the activity.

If I re-launch several times it will eventually start. The other guys here using the same phone have the same issue. Any ideas?

I've just started using both the android app and SysAid .. the problem I'm getting with the android app on my Samsung Galaxy S running 2.2 is that it works fine after install for a while, but then every time after that, it just force closes every time. The app seems really good and does what it should, until you have to run it a second time.

Is there any planned fix for this?
Anyone experience this problem: Login to Helpdesk via the app. ok - but we only get blank tabs. no information.
Our setup is default - we access the site using VPN.
The CSS app has "activities" with time tracking....

I would love to see this in the SysAid IT app!
