Add 'Send Message' in end user view

There is no option for end users to send a message via the sysaid web interface (in the same way the administartors do).

Is there a way to add the 'Send Message' option to the end users view?

I just realized this issue and wanted to see what was going on and found this thread. Does anyone have any additional information in regards to this? What's the point of the end user using the portal and having a history of their tickets to look back on when they can't see anything if they are sent a message? They should be able to view the entire thread of messages as Admins can from where we are logging in. Is there anything that can be done??

There is no such option at the moment, the end-user can add a note to his SR. I can move this thread to the Feature Requests forum if you wish.

Hello,

Has this feature been implemented? I noticed that the post is 3 years old. We do not need notes and messages implemented together.
