Hello Sysaiders,

I have the following problem when I try to connect to the Domain Controller (because I want to use LDAP):

Error: Exception while checking configuration: [LDAP: error code 8 - 00002028: LdapErr: DSID-0C0901FC, comment: The server requires binds to turn on integrity checking if SSL\\TLS are not already active on the connection, data 0, v1db0]

What can I do to solve this problem?

Thanks already!

Hi Fredpascal,

Welcome to our community.

I'm very sorry for the late response do to our holidays.

Is it possible that you need to use SSL in your LDAP integration?
In order to enable LDAP over SSL please go to Preferences > Integration > LDAP > run the LDAP wizard > enable "LDAP over SSL" and add the settings > click the check connection and if you receive an error please provide us with full screenshot.
Best Regards,

Hello,
I had the same issue and when I checked the LDAP over SSL box, I received the below error.

Error: Exception while checking configuration: simple bind failed: sumter:636

Hi SLEDMaster,

That error usually shows when SSL isn't configured on the domain. Is LDAP integration working without SSL?

Cheers,

Michael
