Hi Cindy,

Could you clarify your question? What do you mean by how the validation is done?

Thanks,
Danny

I've written css as internal to customize my notifications, which is above the html data in a <script></script> section. The out put doesn't seem to recognize the <script> tags.

Can someone confirm if I am able to write internal css for editing the notifications... or does the css have to all be inline?

Hi Tony,

As I've answered in your separate thread, you will have to use inline CSS for this.

Thanks for confirming. I've been using inline but have now found that the reason it's not being recognized is due to the emails being received in Outlook and seeing that there are restrictions on the CSS tags that Outlook recogizes

Hi
We have customised some workflow notifications for the "Accept" & "Deny" approval response. we are wanting to put a notes section in the notification but only want it to display anything if there are notes to display. The custom notes section is called $CurrentActionItem.getCust_notes6().
I have another notification that works with the following code:
#if( ${Notes} && ${Notes}!="" )
Notes: ${Notes}
#end
However, I cannot get it to work with custom notes section.
Can anyone advise how the code should be written.
Thanks

Hi poomonster,

Does it display the notes if you use the tag without the #if condition?

Hi Danny
Yes it does. But I need it to only display if there is something in there.
Thanks

Can you copy-paste here the code that you're trying to use for this section?

Can you tell me the correct variable to use in order to add Request User Manager to a notification? Thanks

Hi Crissmiller,

This tag can be found in the Custom Notification Form help page.

${ReqUser.userManagerName}
