Hi,
is there a list somewhere with the available session variables in sysaid?

Michael,

Where would you like to use these variables?
I've found some undocumented ways to use some of the Java class variables in the end user portal but they change depending on the page that is being viewed.

Kevin,

what I would like to do to begin with is to create a view 'Group' that will only show SRs assigned to the group(s) the logged in user is member of.
I've used $LoginUserName$ to create the view for personal SRs

Is this from within the Administrator's screens or is this on the end user portal?

I was under the impression that the view in the Admin area was already set up.

If this is not the case, I'll be needing this as well. I have three support groups.

I looked a little deeper into that variable you posted.

It seems you are using it in the static filter of the admin service desk lists.
I have not found any other variables except for one, OPEN_CLASSES.

I'm trying to do the same thing myself.

What I came up with is creating a view for each Admin Support Group and made a static filter as such:
assigned_group = 'Desktop Apps Support'

(Save this before doing the following as the static filter will not be saved)
Under 'Visible for User Groups' at the top of that window, Select the Admin Group that can view this view.
In my case it would be 'Desktop Apps Support'. Deselect all the other groups.

Now if the admin is not a SysAid administrator, defined under Permissions for that admin at 'SysAid administrator (SysAid Administrators automatically have all the permissions.)',
they should not see or use this custom view.
