SysAid Chat gives you a great way to quickly and easily get answers to your IT questions. Click the chat image to get started.

Entering Chat

Depending upon the way your IT department has configured SysAid, you may or may not see the following screen. Your personal information should already be filled out. If this screen does appear, enter a service record number (if you have one), and click Start. This opens the chat screen.

Chatting with your IT staff

 

You have now notified your IT staff that you would like to chat with them. Please wait patiently, and an administrator will accept your chat session. You will see a confirmation message in the chat box when an administrator accepts the chat (see image). You may now begin typing.

You can click to send files over the chat. This is a great way to give your administrator any additional files he might need to help you resolve your issue!

You can click Close at any time to end the chat session.
