Static filter formatting

There are many places where you can implement static filters, where are you thinking? in SSP? in incident list? 

In general will say that the way to write category in the static filter field in the design view is: 

problem_type=’hardware’  (this is category) 
problem_sub_type=’hardware’  (this is sub category)
third_level_category=’hardware’
