We'd like to make comments mandatory on surveys, but it appears we're unable to find a method to achieve this. Is it feasible?

The question you raised has been identified as FR(feature request).
FR 16277 - FR: option to make comments field mandatory in Survey.
I would highly suggest that you raise a service request with our helpdesk, email the adress helpdesk@sysaid.com or you can raise one via SSP( https://helpdesk.sysaid.com) so we can keep track of how many customers/clients want this FR.
