## Dark mode in SysAid
SysAid currently does **not** offer a full dark mode for the Admin (back-office) UI, so you won’t find a single toggle to make everything dark.
You *can* reduce brightness in these areas:
### 1. Admin Portal (menus)
1. Go to **Settings > Customize > Appearance**
2. Under **Menu color theme**, choose **Dark**
3. Adjust additional colors (menu background, text, etc.) to be darker.
### 2. Self-Service Portal (for end users)
1. Go to **Settings > Self-Service Portal > Banners/Themes**
2. Edit or create a theme.
3. Set darker colors for **backgrounds**, **headers**, and **text**.
A completely black or fully dark background across all Admin screens is not supported today.
