Add a Checklist to Sysaid Request

Hello,

Is it possible to add a checklist to a Sysaid Request?

We would like to create a template with a checklist of assigned tasks we would need to do per each new ticket created for this template. As someone works on the ticket they would then check off the tasks they have completed.

I see a previous topic was requesting something similar and required coding to get it done. However, this is from 2015. Is this still implemented the same way?

Happy New Year!

Just wanted to check if anyone has any insight on how to add a checklist to a Sysaid Request Template.

Hi Ryan,
Don't know about check boxes, but we have managed to do this with the Custom
List Fields on a template.

In 'Customize' > 'Fields Customization' > 'Service Record'. Create 'New custom column' with the field type as 'List'
Once is has been made ready, and is available in 'Customize' > 'Lists' on the drop down, you can add the options you need eg. Yes, No, N/A etc...

You can then add the custom fields into your required template.

We have used this as a checklist for new employees to confirm certain tasks have been completed.

Hope this helps

Checklists / boxes are possible. Unfortunately only SysAid Professional Services team can create them for you. SysAid really needs to provide this feature for administrators. :)

Hi,

We're using the SysAid ITSM package (cloud) version and we can add those ourselves. Never had to ask PS to do this. Only thing is you have to wait for SysAid to activate the Custom Fields once created, which can take a while sometimes.

Just noticed you're talking about actual checkboxes, not lists. Checklist with drop downs have worked fine for us. Screenshot attached.
Be interested to see if the boxes get added to the custom fields as an option !
I think their idea of a checklist is actually in the form of "Action Items"
