Display a message

Hi Tom,
I would suggest creating a new text area field and adding it to the SR type. In the design area for the template put in the text you want displayed then add it to the form for the end user and lock it from being edited. If I'm understanding the question correctly that should do what you are asking for.

Hi all

I would like a message to be displayed when a certain category is chosen by the end user.
Any ideas on how I can accomplish this?

Hi Grumpy old git, you can enter any text in each category in the "Description of the template" field!
It will then appear in the Description field when you select the category.
