Hi there,

I’ve been tasked with bulk importing some new categories into SysAid and was wondering if its possible to set the EUP groups as part of the import? I suspect its not possible, but figured no harm in asking!

Yes, you can set if the categories should be visible within the Self Service Portal, please make sure that you have a dedicated column within the .CSV file with the answer Yes/No, depending on your needs.

Hi Gabriel,

Setting whether or not the category is visible is a simple yes/no. What I’m asking about is setting the actual EUP Groups, which would be the Group Names, comma separated, That way, If I need to import 100+ categories I don’t have to go into each of them as set which groups can see the category.

Unfortuantely, that option cannot be added within the CSV file since that field is not available within the import categories option.
