Every time I write a note in a SysAid incident, it sends an email to the user concerned.  I want to make the notes field private so that it does not do this.  Please help.

If you don’t want the notes sent out you could remove that trigger

Hit the gear icon, Service Desk, General, and uncheck “Notes are added” under Request User

 

to remove the notes field from end user view entirely I think you can do that from Service Desk Templates,  Sub Types, pick the subtype, edit the sub type view, select notes, and use View only except for User Groups and pick everything but your help desk admin group..

 

There might be an easier way but that’s the only one I know
