Hello
We are still using Sysaid version 20.4.74 b10 in conjunction with an Oracle database.
We would now like to install the latest version of Sysaid. How do I migrate the data from Oracle to MySQL, for example?

Hi there,

## Oracle DB Migration to a Supported Database

You’re on 20.4.74 with Oracle. Note: Oracle is not supported from 21.4 onward. To move to the latest version, you must first migrate your data from Oracle to a supported DB (MySQL up to 5.7, or Microsoft SQL Server).

Important: Cross-DB migration (Oracle → MySQL/MS SQL) is a paid, scheduled service. It’s not a self-service tool. We’ll need to assess and perform the migration to preserve data integrity.

What I need from you to proceed with an offer/scheduling:
- Current SysAid version: 20.4.74 b10 (confirmed)
- Oracle version (e.g., 11g/12c and exact build)
- SysAid DB size (GB)
- Target DB choice and version (MySQL 5.7 or MS SQL Server version)
- Server OS details for target environment

Recommended path:
1. Decide target DB:
- MySQL 5.7 only (MySQL 8 is not supported).
- MS SQL Server is fully supported and commonly chosen.
2. We perform the Oracle → target DB migration.
3. After migration, upgrade SysAid along the supported path to the latest version.

If you prefer to proceed, please provide the details above and we’ll coordinate the migration service.
