Anything recieved via email opens a Service Request. Sometimes we get Change control emails that I would like to become Change Requests but I don't see a way of doing that.
Was there ever a response to this, or did you find out how to do?
I'd be interested in any response or solution to this question.
The existing feature "Create a new linked item" allows you to create a linked change request, by clicking on the "Chain" icon on the service request - under the Actions menu, if you are using the new UI.



If you wish convert a service request into a change, it's actually possible via trigger coding.
