I’m looking for a way to use Sysaid with End Users that work for companies that aren’t the same as mine.

Every time they try to log into the link I send them, they cannot log in. I was told to try and follow this guide: SSO Connector, but the SSO connector add on is not on marketplace.

Please could someone help?

Hi there,

To enable end users from a different company to log in to SysAid, you can follow these steps to configure access for external users. Since the SSO Connector add-on is not available in the Marketplace for your setup, you can use alternative methods to allow these users to log in.

### Steps to Enable External End Users to Log In

#### 1. **Create Local Accounts for External Users**
- Log in to the SysAid Admin Portal with your admin credentials.
- Navigate to **Settings > User Management > End Users**.
- Click on **Add New User**.
- Fill in the necessary details for the external users, such as:
- Username
- Email address
- Password (you can set a temporary password for them to change later)
- Save the changes.

#### 2. **Provide Manual Login URL**
- Since these users are not part of your corporate domain or SSO setup, they will need to log in manually.
- Share the following URL with them:
Replace `` with your SysAid instance URL.
- This URL bypasses SSO and allows users to log in with their SysAid credentials directly.

#### 3. **Configure Self-Service Portal (Optional)**
- Navigate to **Settings > Self-Service Portal**.
- Enable external user access to the Self-Service Portal.
- Customize the portal interface if needed to make it user-friendly for external users.

#### 4. **Inform External Users**
- Send the external users their login credentials and the manual login URL.
- Provide instructions on how to access the Self-Service Portal and submit tickets.

### Troubleshooting Tips
If external users still face issues logging in:
1. **Verify User Accounts**: Ensure their accounts are active and not locked in SysAid.
2. **Clear Browser Cache**: Advise users to clear their browser cache and cookies.
3. **Test Login**: Test the manual login URL yourself to ensure it works as expected.
