## Activate Spaces UI on On‑Prem (License Refresh)
To enable Spaces UI, your account must include the Spaces (Journey for SysAid) module and you need an updated activation file reflecting that entitlement.
1. Verify entitlement
- Contact your Account Manager or Customer Care to add Spaces to your license and request the updated activation file(s) (activation.xml and, if provided, secondary_activation.xml).
2. Apply the updated license (on‑prem)
- Place the new file(s) in: ..\SysAidServer\root\WEB-INF\conf
- Do not rename the files; replace existing ones (you may back up the old file as activation.old).
- Restart the “SysAid Server” service.
3. Confirm
- Log in and check Organization → About to verify Spaces is enabled.
If you need SysAid to verify entitlements or regenerate the file, please open a Service Record from the chat page using “Create a Service Record” and attach your current activation.xml and a screenshot of Organization → About.
