I have been asked if it is possible to create a report showing the time incidents have been active for. This would be broken down into different timeframes for example:

Open for more than 3 months

Open for more than 2 months etc..

Showing the number of incidents in each time period. Is this possible? I have had a look at the Timers section but not sure what needs to be setup. 

Any help or guidance would be great.

To create a report in SysAid that shows the time incidents have been active for (e.g., incidents opened for more than 3 months or 2 months), follow these steps:

Step 1: Navigate to the Reports Section
Log in to your SysAid Admin account.
Go to Analytics > Reports.


Step 2: Create a New Report
Click on Create New to start a new report.
Select Incidents as the type of report you want to create.

 


Step 3: Configure Filters
Add a Filter for Status:
Add a filter to include only Active incidents (e.g., status is "Open" or "In Progress").
Add a Filter for Request Time:
Use the Request Time field to filter incidents based on their age.
For incidents opened for more than 3 months:
Set the filter to Request Time < Today - 90 days.
For incidents opened for more than 2 months:
Set the filter to Request Time < Today - 60 days.


Step 4: Customize the Report Columns
Add relevant columns to the report, such as:
Incident ID
Title
Request Time
Status
Assigned To
Last Modified Time
Optionally, include a calculated field to display the exact number of days the incident has been active.
