We presume that the “date issued” field is a custom date field that you use. 

Out of the box, this is not feasible to trigger a report on an asset when the date field is modified, but it would be a cool feature request for future releases. 

You can, however, go to Customize> Reminders> and set a reminder with a notification that the date is arriving a few days before the days arrive. 

We’ll add this as a new idea in our Community so other SysMates can vote on it :)
