If I understood correctly, you can also generate a report and group the data by the Request User field. This will provide an overview of the number of tickets each user has submitted.
In order to create a report you can follow the below steps:
1. Access the Report Editor - Navigate to Analytics > Reports > Open the report you want to edit or create a new report.
2. Add the Request User Field - In the Layout tab of the report editor, locate the list of available fields > Drag and drop the Request User field into the Selected Fields area.
3. Enable Grouping - In the Selected Fields area, locate the Request User field > Click on the field to open its settings or options >Enable the Group By option for the Request User field. This will group the data in the report by each request user.
4. Save and Run the Report.

Thanks for the response. However when I select a tabular result, I can’t select any group by. Interestingly the preview shows what I want to achieve, however when I run the report it just produces a list of all the tickets rather than the aggregated output.
Will have to raise a ticket if no one has any ideas why this is not working.
