Announcements and banners on Self Service portal

Hi,

We would like to start to display banners and messages on homepage to warn of current ongoing issues, or forthcoming events including links or pdf files to resolutions or workarounds so that users don’t always feel the need to raise tickets if we have a hundred on it already.

Is this possible to do, can’t find any documentation for it.

Just to confirm we are talking about notifications aimed for your end-users? 

In any case you have a few options: 

  • Define News in the Self-service Portal

It will appear here: 

  • Send Message in different channels: Email, SMS, Broadcast, you can easily genrate from your profile menu on the admin side. Learn more here.

@Maayan Karstaedt is there a way to customize / brand the outgoing messages from the “Send Message” feature? I don’t see it as an option under Custom Notifications.

Hi, 

You can customize what will appear in the set message by editing your personal signature. Go to your personal menu > My Settings > Signature.
