When we have users submit an incident, we like to collect the IP Address of the machine which they are on. Currently it is a manual process.
We know SysAid has some knowledge of this address as we can see it for the assets under ASSETS ==> ASSET MANAGEMENT ==> ASSET LIST, but are told there is no way to populate it on the ticket. Has anyone figured out a way to get this to work.

Hi rjackvony,
If you have saved the main asset field in the SSP template and in the admin template, you can have the details entered.
The prerequisite is open the ticket via SSP.
If you have rolled out the agent and use the hotkey function or the desktop button, the asset information is even filled in automatically.
