and

Petri's IT KB ( https://www.petri.co.il )
www.NocPlace.com

NocPlace is a social app that connects IT experts to their peers to prevent hardware failures, avoid software bugs, and share important topics. Receive proactive information via a curated data feed. Share tips within the IT community to earn points for charity.

NocPlace™️ allows you to "friend" devices, software, and topics instead of people. You get a live feed of highly specific information for only the gear and subjects you really care about. The idea is to help prevent IT problems instead of asking questions after the outage.
By far this is one of the most useful ones I have Ever used.

I will put myself a reminder to check back on this post in 3 more years and see what the future holds......
I waited to see some feedback here - no luck.

I try this www.theregister.co.uk and Mymathdone.com its good.
Hi Fellow SysAiders!

I couldn't resist adding Toms Hardware Guide.. I've been a fan of their content for several years, especially during the era of overclocking Celerons to 1 GHZ (which ended in many burnt CPUs) back in the late 90's. I still remember their first video when they tested the thermal throttling of Pentium IV vs. AMD, which can be found here on Youtube.

Cheers!

Michael
Hey there! This is a fairly old thread, so let's reboot it with the best IT websites of your choice for today! If you want, share why you chose them and we'll collect and post them in an article on our blog, giving you guys credit, and sharing the knowledge with others :)

I'll start with [url=http://arstechnica.com/]Ars Technica as my go-to source of IT, technology and security news. Their articles are on-point and very detailed, so - highly recommended!

Edit: Oh I see this was already posted! So let's mention the great hivemind of Reddit forums, particularly the /r/technology, /r/hardware, and /r/sysadmin subreddits, among many others where you can get your tech news and participate in discussions.

A honorary mention to ThinkGeek for having awesome merchandize for geeks of all trades.

Share your own, don't be shy ;)

Cheers,

Danny
