REST API Search syntax

We have an issue with filtering/searching SRs trough REST API. I tried with both search and filters, but documentation is not as clear as it can be (some examples would be helpful). Please see pictures bellow:

REST API Search SR's

Ok the API documentation is really bad for this.Lets say I have an SR with a key of this:        {            "key": "CustomColumn52sr",            "value": "d12f7702-2c0a-4f2e-b5c1-33100d2183f2",            "valueClass": "",            "mandatory": false,            "editable": true,            "type": "text",            "defaultValue": null,            "customColumnType": "string",            "valueCaption": "d12f7702-2c0a-4f2e-b5c1-33100d2183f2",            "keyCaption": "~Transaction ID"        }, I need to be able to search for the value d12f7702-2c0a-4f2e-b5c1-33100d2183f2. I have tried to put a search string together but I can’t figure it out. Anyone have done this before? Thanks!

Hello, I have an API connection that has recently stopped working. My company has also recently rolled out SSO authentication to sysaid so I’d strongly imagine that the reason.Do you know what changes I need to get back online with the API connection?Keith

SysAid users are not able to log in

Our users are no longer able to log on to SysAid using the domain and user credentials. It keeps on saying incorrect password even when entered correctly. Below its the screenshot of the setting selected.

Using SSO when clicking on the Desktop Shortcut

We use SSO for Sysaid but when it comes to the using the desktop agent/shortcut it wants to use the AD login information which doesn’t work with our setup.How can I get our agent settings to use SSO or asking the end user to login so that they can submit a ticket via the self-service portal?

SysAid Rest API Login

I’ve got the service account to use it with REST API. I tested that account to confirm whether login works in the browser. I want to test login using REST API in Postman. I referred a couple of posts, but I couldn’t connect using REST API. Can someone help on what I am missing? I am using following URL And parameters to login. Rest API Working examples in C#

Service Request attachments using Python requests module

REST API Login Help - Python

I am trying to submit a ticket using Sysaid REST API. I am stuck at making a login connection. I am using Phyton, here’s the code: import requests headers = {"Content-Type":"application/json"} info={ "user_name": "username","account_id": "accountid","password" : "password"}#url = "https://systemone.sysaidit.com/api/v1/Login" l = requests.post(url=url, json=info, headers=headers) We use SSO/Oauth. I think thats causing problem as I found on Sysaid site that REST Api wont work for OAuth users. Is there a work around?Also, a maximum of two API login requests will be allowed within a five minute periodI have to wait 5 minutes everytime to test , my code. For API development this should not be the limitation. Can you take this off for out company?

Hi,All the requests I make through Insomnia work perfectly but inside my web application I always get CORS ERROR.Is there any way to enable CORS on my SysAid installation?

Login Working Now How to Create a /Sr via API

had anyone got any JavaScript examples of how to create a sr request via api. i can get logged in and get the jsessionid back. just need to know the next steps to create an actual request Thanks David

Request for further details regarding REST API in general

Hello!We are in the middle stages of evaluation of SysAid as a combined ITSM and CMDB service for both internal and customer needs. Internally we have a strong philosophy of consolidating as much frontend-backend communication to REST as possible; as such, we are heavily invested in wanting to know more about the API of SysAid in general.  The main sources of relevant information regarding the REST API we have perused are the following:https://documentation.sysaid.com/docs/rest-api-guidehttps://documentation.sysaid.com/docs/rest-api-details Rather than asking what is possible, we thought it would be easier if it’s possible to define which parts of the system are not accessible (e.g. replicating full functionality supplied via other existing methods) via REST? REST API Search SR not returning project_id

Hello. I am trying to do a search of our service records using the REST API. I am able to successfully login and do a sr search. I retrieve all the records but I am missing a piece of data I would like to display to my users from this search.  On our system I would like to retrieve this piece of information.   If I do a request and pull this record individually, the data is in the key “project_id”.  This is missing from a sr search. Is it possible to request this field in my query? Do I need to define a view or something like that? I tried adding parameter's to my request in the field parameter but that didn’t seem to help. Our default view does show this information. Or do I need to write a loop from the first search to pull each sr and find that piece of data that was missing? This is my search request to start with that seems to return everything I need but one field.  Thank you.

REST API - login timeouts

Hi, since two days login calls to REST API have stopped working, everytime I POST /login (as I always did) i receive a "Error 504 - Request time out". If I try logging in from a web browser, I can then call other get endpoints from there so API is actually working. What could it be? Thanks!

SysAid REST API Returns Incorrect Value

The standard key field ‘totalTime’ always returns the SR# and not the Total Activities time (sum of the time in SR’s activities). Issues Posting to the Change Request Endpoint

Hi, I'm trying to send a request to the Change End Point http://helpdesk:8080/api/v1/sr?type=change&templateID=1 and I am getting the following error back Status 400 - Message 'Failed to load service record template:5' I am able to successfully post a Request using the end point http://helpdesk:8080/api/v1/sr?type=request&templateID=12 Any ideas what is going wrong please?
