Hi Members, is anyone experiencing a rather no after sales support from SysAid Tech Team ??, I have logged two incidents with them for the past two months and haven't received any contact as yet.

outgoing deep ssl scanning

Hello Long time reader first time poster so bear with me. In my environment there is a legal need to scan every incoming and outgoing connection using our firewall (fortigate - deep ssl ) . The only functionality that is broken is no mail fetching due to ssl mismatch.  So my real question is : does the platform use different keystone than windows server root authority for outgoing connections ? I need to place my certificate somewhere, but all my tries were failed to say the least. Any ideas fellow sysaiders ?(Have searched the docs , forums, to N/A) Thank you

On-Call Person

Hi guys, I am new with SysAid and was wondering how you deal with on-call personnel/tickets. We have scheduled on call person and would like to notify them when a ticket is submitted or NOT assigned after 10 minutes it was submitted. How do you notify the on call person when the on call person changes every week? We are trying to minimize the number of emails being received by the other Admins so sending a notice to the group, hopefully, is not the way we have to go.We are using teh SysAid clou.

Renew SSL Cert

Hi, I’ve updated the path with the new cert name on server.xml file on the app server.Restart the SysAid server service and it still shows the old cert.What else should I do?

Why can't I put a hyphen in my First Name!!!

Hey SysAidI’m new here but just wanted to express my frustration with not being able to enter my first name with either a space or a hyphen!!!  My name is Mary-Rose but your system refuses to accept it.  Very frustrating… I really hate being called Mary...

Invalid domain administrator credentials SysAid Trial OnPremise

Hello, i’m working with sysadid trial enterprise edition v22.4.45.b2I have a domain administrator credential saved wich seems fine , as I see domain OU, sub.OU, etc. imported, but that same credential seems invalid when trying network scan . I always get “invalid domain administrator credentials” scaning assets on domain.I’ve tried with another valid admin credential but it doesnt work. I get same message.Any idea?Thanks, in advance.

Sysaid agent generates error

The Agent is installed normally on the client machine, Java is updated and the operating system is updated, but the machine is not registered in the Sysaid console, in the Assets list. We switched from LDAP to Azure auth for our users so now the password reset services screen is no longer working.How do I remove that from the windows 10 login screen? Install method:SysAidAgent.exe /VERYSILENT /URL https://www.web.site /account AccountName /serial SerialNumber /install once /AllowRemoteControl Y /SubmitSRShortcut "Help Desk" /Interval 30 /ConfirmRC Y /RandomMachineID N /AllowSubmitSR Y /LogLevel 3 /ENABLESYSAIDPS Y is it as simple as switching /ENABLESYSAIDPS Y to /ENABLESYSAIDPS N

Need help with SysAid On-Prem AWS SMS integration - I'm 95% there, but I'm missing something.

Please help. I need help configuring SysAid On Prem (ver 22.1.65).I need to configure SMS texting using AWS SNS service.  Note, I’ve successfully sent verification text from AWS SNS configuration page to my cell phones (2 different phones).  I have AWS account, SNS is configured in Sandbox, I have setup access and secret keys, etc.  The dialog below, if set to Amazon Web Services SNS, does not permit me to change the Mobile Originated, Gateway ID, User Name, Password or SMS Protocol fields. The Sender ID is optional and not supported in the US (as I understand it). However, I did try it with a Sender ID that I setup in AWS.I feel as if SysAid isn’t working correctly.  See screenshot below:

Are there any issues with a in place Windows Server Upgrade?

We plan to do an in place upgrade of our on premise SysAid server. This would be from Windows Server 2012 Standard (x64) to Windows Server 2016 Standard (x64). We have successfully done this on other servers.Other than having VM snapshots and SQL backups for a recovery point and stopping the services, are there any other recommendations or tips for SysAid?

64 Bit Installer

Hi Can you please provide me with a link to obtain a full install of the 64 bit version. We currently have a 32 bit version, but the server it is on is failing and we would like yo take the opportunity to upgrade to the 64 bit version. Thanks Brad

Making third level category not mandatory

We want to make the Category and Subcategory mandatory but not the third level. We want to make the third level something that support uses to make a more generic issue more specific. It seems that if I make the Category required that the Sub and third level are also required. I do not see how to accomplish this. Is it an all or nothing setting?

Endpoint not added to sysaid, agent shutdown

Hi Community, I’ve tried to install sysaid agent, but the computer didn’t show up on sysaid asset lists. The log says the agent shut down.
