Does anyone know if we can add a link to the USER LIST to the main SYSAID Admin Portal Screen?

I will be deploying our new SysAid agent soon and some of my users are part of a Windows Remote Desktop Server environment.   Do I just follow the standard steps when installing software into that environment?   Is there anything that I need to be aware of as far as possible issues go?

Hi SysAid Support Team,Sorry I’m new on this forum. A week ago, our On-Premise SysAid had an issue and I’m trying to reach out to you guys for assistance. As such, I want to log-in a SysAid Ticket at your SysAid Help Desk Portal. I am new with this Organisation I’m working with and they have been using SysAid Help Desk for a while now. I want to register but it keeps taking me this community to register. Can someone please assist me so I can actually register on your SysAid Help Desk portal and log-in my ticket ?Many thanks,Billy

Has anyone successfully found a way to auto-populate the MacOS sysaid settings with the appropriate URL, ID, and Serial? I have this setup with the Windows MSI configuration, but would like to add this to my workflow for Mac onboarding as well. My workflow treats SysAid as one of many packages installed during onboarding, so I would much rather have this setup as opposed to the SysAid discovery server setup. That seems like another core service to maintain and therefore not the streamlined approach I would prefer.

new to the platform here, and looking for doc on HowTo of using this cloud-based platform to ‘do’ SNMP scanning , or some examples of How does sysaid Monitor switches / storage / NAS , etc. , assuming it does ….  and then any subsequent reports/template/alerting of discovered information. thnx

How do I install SysAid agent on the computers in my organization domain when i have the agen already installed on the RDS server

I want to deploy the sysaid agent via group policy. i have configured the group policy and the transforms MST file, but I dont see anything in the MST to deploy password services to the workstation login screen, am I missing something or can that only be deployed by using the agent deployment plan????? thanks for your help

Good afternoon We recently implemented SysAid mobile to enable our technicians to work on their incidents or create new incidents in the field.  However, when clicking on New Ticket, the screen is just blank and it shows ticket #0 Please help!

I’m writing a design document detailing the architecture of SysAid cloud. Would you happen to share a high-level view of the cloud architecture?

They helped me set up Azure with SSO, but I run a City IT, and we have a School System, the City Municipal side is all on Azure, but the Schools are all in Google.  We are hybrid, so both sides do also log into Active Directory.Unfortunately, before we purchased, the saleswoman said it would not be an issue integrating both with SSO, but that’s apparently not true and you can only SSO one of the two environments.  My problem is, even if I manually import School users, the SSO is trying to get them to log into M365 to log into the Sysaid portal.  Obviously for School users, that’s not possible, any way to get around this hurdle?  Do I need to redo the user inputs and just use two LDAP Intergrations instead (one for the school AD and one for the Municipal AD)?Not a huge deal if that’s what we need to do, it just sucks that we spent a full day on the call with Sysaid, where I mentioned this multiple times, and they never mentioned that it wouldn’t work.  Can someone confi

I’m an admin of our sys aid (cloud) instance but don’t have options to add/edit/delete users in the Tool menu.  How do I get these permissions / or am I missing something?

Hello!My company has just transitioned from SysAid on premises to SysAid in the Cloud.I now need to migrate my code that accessed SysAid DB directly from local to Cloud.Can anyone help mw, by explaining what my options are?Can I still access the DB even in the cloud?Or do I have to use REST API?Or perhaps some other option. Thank you in advanceRudy

Hello, we have changed our license and received a temporary license. The invoice has been paid, but we have not received a final license. Now our license has expired. How do we get this now, as we know there is a war going on in Israel? And how can I import the license into the system when I get one since we can no longer log in. Hello there,We are currently running SysAid on Version v21.4.45 b17, and we want to update to the newest version possible (On-Prem).As a result, I have several questions in mind:While reading through the articles, I came across information stating that I cannot upgrade more than two versions at a time. The issue is that we plan to utilize a completely new VM and Database for the new version. Does this restriction still apply in this case?Furthermore, I am curious about whether we need new licenses for the updated version.Lastly, I am interested in knowing if it's possible to migrate the old tickets that are still active to the new database.Thank you for your assistance.Kind regardsPeter

Hello, I was trying to setup a docker installation on my Centos 8 distro. After following the instructions: - Download the zip - Copy the activation.xml in current dir - python3 SysAid.py install I opted for the MSSql installation When I view the logs after installation (docker logs -f sysaid_sysaid_1), I see the following in the logs: Error while checking connection: Exception while checking configuration: No suitable driver found for jdbc:jtds:sqlserver://mssql/sysaid It seems the JTDS driver is not incuded in the image (sysaid/sysaid_server_linux:20.3.64_12) Any help would be appreciated.

When I change categories in an incident or request the assigned to/process manager resets to None.  Where can I find the setting to turn this off? Thanks

I can see that Zoom Video Communications, Inc. is part of the SW Vendor and Classification in Patch Management Policy. But it does not give me the option to approve or show me versions that are in my environment. I also checked Patch Management and just do a basic search; it does not show me Zoom as well.I go to Software Products and add a new Software Product and I can see I have a few computers that have Zoom client installed using the query builder. Is there a chance that Zoom Video Communications Inc changed their name recently and now Patch Management policy or Patch Management won't list them in the correct slot?I am currently trying to update zoom to ensure it is the latest version through SysAid patch management.
