Reporting & Analytics

We are looking for a way to report on when the status (not necessarily the last modification of the SR) was last changed for a service record.  The outcome is a way to track how long service records have been in say a Pending User or Customer Responded status regardless of other notes or field changes in the service record.  Ideally, a database field dedicated to that with a timestamp of when the last status change took place.  Does something like this already exist?

Hi there,I am trying to create a custom filter for one of the charts in our sysaid dashboard. I would like the filter to show the following: Priority Critical or Priority HighAnd Status 1. New or Status 2. Ready or Status 3. Open I’ve spent a good chunk of time messing with different options in the filter wizard to achieve this result but haven’t been able to get anything going.  Here’s the most recent way I’ve formatted the filter:Please let me know what changes I should make, if it’s possible. P.S. I’d love to see someone at Sysaid taking some time to make some QOL changes to this wizard, IMO it’s very unintuitive, even allowing users to type out the filter instead would be much appreciated.

We have a Status Monitor in each of our locations that shows things like uptimes, prtg status, g-suite alerts, etc. This system is just a wrapper of url's that are cycled through. Is there a way to create a dashboard that is 'public'? IE, anyone with the link can see it.

Hello,we are using Sysaid on Linux. Now we want use the Report “Satisfaction by admins”. but it shouldnt be possible to look into the “details”. So we would like to edit the site where config hides the details from the checkbox that enables this (please see screenshot). in the filesysem we can’t find the site for the reports. How can we edit this? 

I’m working on cleaning up unused sub-categories and I was trying to create a report that would show how many tickets were in each category that would also display sub categories over a 1 year period Any tips? John

When I create cluster report, the reports do not show in the same order that they were added.  Example, Added Report 1, report 2, report 3, report 4.   Running the report, they show up, report 1, report 3, report 2, report 4.    Why?  and how can I correct? 

Hi All, I need an automatic report stating SR with a due date smaller or equal to "today". As it will be automatic I don't want to edit the date filter each day 🙄 Report design and schedule I am ok. At this point I am missing the "dynamic today" for my date filter. How do i specify such a "dynamic today" on a date filter? Did search the forums without success... Regards. Serge

I am looking to see if there is a report that can be run that will show me all the software installed on a machine. I would really like to be able to make a report that shows me ALL the installed software across the network that doesn't involve hand inputting every piece of software into software products. I can see installed software under the software tab in an individual asset, so there has to be a way to take that list and put it in a report ..... right?

Hi, I am having some problems with historical active tickets. 1 - the current active ticket report - if i ran this report for last week it will only tell me ticket that are active for last week. If I have some aged tickets, older than last week, they will not show up on the report. 2 - I also need to be able to report on how many active tickets i had at any given time. Say this week we have x amount of tickets active, now i want to know how many active tickets I had open this time last year. Any help will be appreciated.

How can I get my SysAid tables into an Access Front End? I am much more familiar with access so I can create custom reports on the fly as needed. Thanks. LJ

I have configured some charts in the dashboard to dsiplay information grouped by "Assigned to". The charts work very well but the Admin username is only displayed in the DOMAIN\username format. I made some tests and charts will only display Admins username in such format no matter how the user name display method is configured in the Customize>Appearance configuration page. I have tried "First and last name", "login name-first and last name", "Last and first name", etc but the charts only display the using the mentioned format. Have any of you managed to get the charts display the admin username in a different format?? We would love to display the admin user name just as the SysAid field user name (username format) and not as the User ID SysAid Field that uses the DOMAIN\username format. Is this possible?? Look forward to your comments.

Is there a way to pull a report that shows what email rules were run? We are just starting to use email rules to auto route tickets and would like to be able to show how many tickets are now being handled that way.

Hello, I am running a report which requires me to retrieve items which maybe expiring for a month ahead. So for example, on March 1st, I would like a report to run which will show me expiring items for the month of April. This will give admins enough time to review and renew items. In the Date Range, there seems to be plenty dates in the past like Last Quater, Last Month etc. but i would like there to be Next month or next 60 days etc. Can this be attained with the current setup?
